EMG Pickups and Active 2-Band EQ
In the bridge position MMHZ is a passive pickup with a dual-coil design for low noise and plenty of output. Featuring EMG's CS design (Ceramic and Steel), this has the punch and fullness of older passive designs with added brightness for a better-defined tone. The MMHZ is wired for both dual-coil and single-coil use, changed through the push/pull volume pot.

The SJHZ pickup in the neck position features a stacked design, using ceramic magnets and a laminated steel core to increase output and lower noise.

Adjust the master blend between the two pickups, and use the EMG Active 2-band EQ with selectable frequencies for further versatility, dialing in your tone just right for any application.

Graph Tech "Tusq" Nut
The precision Tusq nut is made with Graph Tech's "man made ivory," which couples the strings' vibrations to the neck and is impregnated with Teflon to improve the tuning performance of your guitar.
